Artwork Specifications

Accepted File Formats

• Adobe Illustrator CS3 (Do Not Embed any Links)
• Macromedia Freehand MX (Please convert type to paths)
• InDesign CS3
• Photoshop CS3
• TIFF / BMP / JPEG / GIF / EPS (refer “Scanned image guidelines” for specs)
• High Resolution PDF (Please ensure to supply all linked images & typefonts or convert text to paths/outlines before saving PDF)

Accepted File Formats upon sighting

We must sight this artwork to enable us to know if we can accept it or not. Please note that an additional charge may apply if logos or artwork needs to be redrawn.

• Quark X Press 6
• Corel Draw (Up to version 11)- All text in curves/paths. ALSO export file to Adobe Illustrator(ai.format) With all text in paths/curves (Supply 2 files).
• Powerpoint, Adobe Pagemaker, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Excel etc.

Scanned Image Guidelines

• Lineart/Bitmap – Optimum quality is achieved from an image scanned or created at 1200+ DPI
• Colour/Greyscale – Optimum quality is achieved from an image scanned or created at 300+ DPI

Please Note

• Supply all required typefonts – or – convert all text to paths/outlines.
• All black text & keylines etc. in CYMK files to be supplied as black only.
• Please supply a colour print or B&W with colour breakdown clearly marked.
• Include relevant files only.
• Supply artwork at 100% size and if bleed is included please indicate this clearly

Film Requirements

Due to the nature of our particular printing process we have complex film specifications & therefore prefer that customers do not supply film.
